A Fable, fiction, folk tale, math narrative, saga, story or tale. They were told from generation to generation. Would one find some truth when tracing a legend back to it's origin ? Once upon a time, the 'first people of Africa, dwelled in Southern Africa. They lived close to nature and were masters on tracking. Discovering gigantic human foot impressions on ancient rock face, could have lead to this legend: 'Legend tells that a giant and ancestor of the ancient people, as well as animal emerged from the ground while the rocks were soft and that these foot prints are still to be seen " The seven-toed impressions and some engravings on ancient rock face, were known by local people. Eventually we found that there are as many foot impressions as there are engravings !The gigantic 'footprint' (image above) and the seven-toed impressions, are (+-) 3 meters apart. THE TRIBAL LEGEND OF A SEVEN-TOED CREATURE The seven-toed, two-heeled creature? "The hideous creature stalked the erth in tymes of olde, wen the worlde was younge and men were fewe. A bodie of unlikly forme it hadde, standing seven foot abov the erth, and fangd with rowes of teeth sharpe as paring nives. Fur it had, the deepe brown of naugahide furniture, and ruf to the touche. Its feet were straynge, the toes numbering more than you woold think, the heels as well. " "I hayve seen this beest with my own eyes, and it was quite scayry, I assure you. Its eyes were like coles of fyre, and it emitted a terrifying sounde which went like this: "Rourrrrrr", but louder. Many legynds tell of this creeture.
